| Switch Upgrade Maintenance YCEES Building
IST Unified Communications and Networks (Telecom) wishes to replace the networking equipment in YCEES (aka York) 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. This will only impact the original YCEES portion of the building and it will not impact connectivity in the LSEC portion of the building. These upgrades are being done to increase capacity and improve network performance in the building. We would like to perform this upgrade at the end of week starting Saturday, June 25th, 2022 until Sunday, June 26th, 2022.
While the maintenance window covers Saturday and Sunday network outages will only impact one floor at a time (see estimates below).
YCEES 1st floor Saturday, June 25 starting at 8AM to 1PM
YCEES 2nd floor Saturday, June 25 starting at 10AM to 3PM
YCEES 3rd floor Saturday, June 25 starting at 12PM to 7PM
Alternate: Sunday, June 26 starting at 8AM to 2PM
During this schedule window there will be no wireless, no wired connectivity and no phone service while the equipment and cables are replaced. Emergency phones will not be impacted |
