ADRH Third Floor Network Maintenance 09/12 @5:00AM

We will be rebooting the network equipment servicing the third floor of ADRH.  The reboot will be done tomorrow Wednesday 09/12 at 5:00AM.  Wireless and Wired Network connectivity will be down for 30 minutes during the reboot.

Completed – Banner System Maintenance, 9/15/2018

Banner system maintenance completed at 4:45 am and all Banner services are available.

On Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 3 am – 5 am, Banner system maintenance will be performed.  During this maintenance window, all Banner services (Internet Native Banner (INB), Banner Self Service, Job submission), Pipeline, and related Banner applications (e.g. Appworx, Infosilem, Evision, etc.) will be unavailable.

Wireless Authentication – Emergency Patch Installation – 09/09 @ 8PM

We will be installing an emergency security patch in the Authentication Server supporting Wireless Authentication on Sunday September 9 at 8PM.  Customers trying to authenticate between 11PM and 1AM will experience an authentication delay.  No service interruption is expected.

Moodle Service Restored

Update: As of 12:00 PM Moodle Service has been restored. If you are still experiencing an issue please contact the IST Service Desk.

Original Message:  Some users at this time may find Moodle to be slow and unresponsive. NJIT is working with our provider to resolve this issue. An update will given when performance is restored.

 

Resolved – Banner services are temporarily unavailable

Self Service Banner (SSB), Internet Native Banner (INB), and other related services were restored at 6:30 am.  The services became unavailable early morning on September 5, 2018.   The cause of the outage is being investigated.

 

 

 

UPDATE: NARF Tennis Center network connectivity is restored. Thursday, September 6th, 2018

Connectivity was restored at noon on September 6th.

A construction change has accidentally taken the Tennis Courts off the campus network.

The wireless and Network connectivity are not available in that building, as well as the tennis Playsight service.

Update: The connection to the NARF Tennis Center is anticipated to be restored sometime on the afternoon of Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Colton Hall 1st Floor Emergency Maintenance, Thursday, August 30 11:00am-1:00pm Services Unavailable

Today, Thursday, August 30, 11:00 AM-1:00 AM, NJIT Telecom will perform Emergency Maintenance to replace a failing network device serving  Colton Hall 1st floor. During this maintenance all wired and wireless network services will be unavailable on the 1st floor only.  Service will be restored at 1:00 PM.
