RELAY SERVER UPGRADE ALERT- Aug 15, 2017 – 9AM to 11AM (approx.)

On August 15th, between the hours of 9AM and 11AM, the TechSmith Relay server will down due to an upgrade. This new update to version 5.1.2 includes a number of improvements in the stability of the recorder.

In order to facilitate this change it is necessary that users of the Mac version of Relay will need to upgrade their recorder. When opening the application you should receive a prompt to update your recorder. Please install this update to continue to use Relay (no change for PC users).

If you are having an issue and are unable to upgrade you can also download the newest recorder from the NJIT TechSmith Relay site at relay.njit.edu.

Banner services outage (Friday, 8/18/17, 9 pm – Saturday, 8/19/17, 5 pm)

The following services will be unavailable due to planned maintenance beginning on Friday, August 18, 9 pm through Saturday, August 19, 5 pm:

  • Banner Self Service (Student, Financial Aid, Faculty, Employee, Finance) including Pay Your Bill and new Registration Self Service links in Highlander Pipeline.
  • Banner INB (Internet Native Banner) and Job Submission
  • Auxiliary Banner services (e.g. Appworx, Banner Document Management, Degreeworks, eVision, etc.)

Moodle, Webmail, Campus-wide Notification system, and Student Success Collaborative services will remain available.

Moodle Downtime

Important Downtime Announcement: Moodle will be undergoing maintenance on August 10th between 3 AM and 5 AM. During this time Moodle will not be available.

Internet Native Banner (INB) outage 8 am – Noon, Saturday, 8/12/2017

There will be Internet Native Banner (INB) service outage at 8 am – Noon on Saturday, August 12, 2017.  This outage will also affect Job Submission, Degreeworks, and Banner Relationship Management services.   However, Self Service Banner (SSB) service will not be affected during this outage.

Questions should be referred to the NJIT Service Desk.

IST Service Desk Currently Unavailable

((UPDATE)) The IST Service Desk was closed for approximately 30 minutes on August 2, 2017 due to an emergency. The IST Service Desk has since been reopened.
