Summer Updates to Degree Works. May 18, 2018 – June 1, 2018

Over the summer Degree Works will be updated to reflect recent changes made to the course catalog and program requirements.

Changes have begun and are scheduled to be complete on June 1. During this time students may notice discrepancies in Degree Works.  If you notice any issues after June 1, please contact Student Information Systems at sis@njit.edu.

Highlander Pipeline Service Outage – Service Restored

Highlander Pipeline portal service was unavailable Saturday, 5/12/2018, 12:10 am – 6:30 am. The portal service was fully restored at 6:30 am and all services accessed through the portal are available.

Banner System Maintenance on 5/19/2018

On Saturday, May 19, 2018 at midnight – 10:00 am, Banner system maintenance will be performed.  During this maintenance window, all Banner services (Internet Native Banner (INB), Banner Self Service, Job submission) and related Banner applications (e.g. Appworx, Infosilem, Evision, etc.) will be unavailable.

Power restored at 6:55pm. Power Outage – South side of Campus

Power was restored at 6:55pm.

NJIT is currently experiencing power outages in Laurel Hall, Oak Hall, Honors Hall, Summit Street Parking Deck and Tiernan Hall. There is also a traffic light out at Warren Street and Lock Street. We are currently assessing the outage cause with various university departments and PSE&G.   NJIT Police will conduct additional safety watches within the effected buildings. Updates will be provided.

Telephone and network access may be impacted within these buildings.

Wireless Network NJITsecure and eduroam – Service restored 4/20/18 at 5:20pm

On Friday April 20, 2018 4:20pm – 5:20pm the NJITsecure and eduroam wireless networks were unavailable.   Service was restored at 5:20pm.

Registration Self-Service is temporarily unavailable.  In interim you may use Banner Self Service for course registration.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Updated – Banner Systems Maintenance on 3/16/18 – 3/17/18

Banner Systems Maintenance was completed as scheduled.  Banner systems and other related services are back online.

NJIT SOS (Service Outage System)

Banner Finance, Human Resources, and Student systems will be upgraded between 11 pm, Friday, March 16th and 2 pm, Saturday, March 17th.

During these periods, Internet Native Banner (INB), Banner Self Service (SSB), Job submission and related Banner applications (e.g. Cognos, Appworx, Infosilem, Evision, eTranscript, etc.) will be unavailable.
