Service restored at 9/27/18 12 noon. On Thursday morning 9/27/18 at 9:30am network connectivity to some phones and computer in CKB, Cypress, Honors, EDC3 and FSB became intermittent.  The issue is currently being researched. Information: IST Service Desk 973-596-2900

Wireless Network Maintenance August 16, from 10 PM to 1 AM and August 23, from 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM

On Thursday August 16, 2018  between 10 PM and 1 AM, network software upgrades will be performed on the wireless network.   During this maintenance window, the wireless network will be intermittent for approximately 40 minutes.  This upgrade will impact the “NJITsecure”, “NJIThousing”,  “eduroam” and “NJIT” wireless networks. Service Restored: Eberhardt Hall Network Service Outage August 8 at 8am

  Service was restored at 1:30pm. On Wednesday August 8 at 8am, portions of Eberhardt Hall lost network service impacting computer and phone service.  Failed network equipment is currently being replaced.  Estimated time of  service restoration is 2pm. Info:  IST Service Desk 973-596-2900

Service Restored 8/8/2018 at 3:50pm: Analog telephone service outage

Service was restored on Wednesday August 8, 2018 at 3:50pm. Update: Access to the IST Service Desk Phone System Has Been Restored

UPDATE: A problem with the IST Service Desk’s phone lines was resolved at approximately 1 pm. Power restored at 6:55pm. Power Outage – South side of Campus

Power was restored at 6:55pm. ———————————————————————————— NJIT is currently experiencing power outages in Laurel Hall, Oak Hall, Honors Hall, Summit Street Parking Deck and Tiernan Hall. Cullimore Hall 2nd Floor Network Maintenance Wed Oct 25 7:30am-8am

Update: GITC 2nd and 3rd Floor Network Outage at 12:01 AM 9/30/2017

NJIT Telecom is actively investigating reports of slow network connections, both wired and wireless on the Second and Third floors of the GITC building. In addition, some VoIP phones are briefly re-registering. This Friday evening at midnight Telecom has scheduled a reboot of all network devices controlling these floors.
