Turnitin Downtime
Between 11:00 AM and 7 PM on July 10th Turnitin will be down for software maintenance. During this time users will be unable to submit Turnitin assignments in Moodle.
Moodle Scheduled Downtime
On Friday June 1st from 3:00 AM to 4:30 AM Moodle will be undergoing an update. During this time Moodle may not be available. Please plan accordingly in terms of accessing your coursework.
Turnitin Maintenance
Between 11:00 AM and 5 PM on March 17th Turnitin will be down for software maintenance. During this time users will be unable to submit Turnitin assignments in Moodle.
Moodle Maintenance Complete
Update: Moodle service has been restored and move has been completed. Moodle will be down during a time frame between 2 AM to 6 AM the morning of Thursday March 1st. This downtime is to improve the overall performance of Moodle by moving to new hosting platform.
Moodle Service Restored
Update: Moodle service has been restored at 1:35 PM. Moodle users may experience intermittent service when logging in to Moodle. Users may see an “Error Writing To Database” message or “dmlreadexception” when browsing pages. Users can try to refresh their page as a temporary fix.
Domain log in issues – February 20, 2018
Currently some user may experience trouble logging on to their computers. Please wait 15 minutes before attempting to log in again. Moodle Performance Restored
Update: Service has been restored as of 12:30 PM. Moodle is currently experiencing a service degradation, users may experience a slow or unresponsive site. NJIT is working with our provider to resolve this issue.

Moodle Emergency Maintenance Completed
The emergency maintenance to address the Moodle site degradation is completed. Moodle at this time should be restored to normal performance. NJIT will continue to monitor the situation. Users who are still experiencing issues are encouraged to contact the IST Service Desk.
