During routine systems maintenance around 10:30pm on Friday 8/1/2014, an unexpected server crash resulted in an interruption of several IT services lasting for up to an hour. All services were restored before midnight. Please report any ongoing related issues to the IST Helpdesk at (973) 596-2900. Thank you.
This morning at around 9:20am, a computer hardware failure resulted in several minutes of performance degradation. Information systems affected included Banner, Highlander pipeline and others. The hardware failure has been resolved. Information services that continue to be affected are under investigation. Please contact IST Helpdesk at ext 2900 for additional information.
Several IST services were interrupted this morning starting at around 7:00am due to environmental equipment failure in GITC. Services affected include high performance computing systems (i.e. Kong, Gorgon, etc.) and AFS home directories.
