Full Internet service was restored at 11:55am on a backup circuit. On Thursday October 27, 2016 at 9:15am, Internet connectivity to NJIT had a reduction in performance. Intermittent Internet Connectivity 10/23/16 7:20pm – 7:50pm

On Sunday October 23, 2016, 7:20pm – 7:50pm, Internet connectivity for portions of the network became intermittent. This impacted VPN and service to the residence halls. Service was restored at 7:50pm. Information: IST Service Desk 973-596-2900

sql2.njit.edu is down

19:00 10/10/2016 One of the two academic MySQL database servers. sql2.njit.edu, is down. All databases on that sever are currently not available. The other academic MySQL database server, sql2.njit.edu, is up and functioning normally. ETA of restoration of sql2.njit.edu service is not known at this time.
