Update: Loss of IT Services Due to Power Failure

Update: 6:30 pm, April 15 

As of 6:00 pm the majority of NJIT’s IT Services have been restored. This includes:

  • Instructional systems (course evaluations, Moodle, Relay, WebMail by Google, WebEx).
  • Web applications (admissions, Banner, Campus Pipeline, online tuition payments).
  • Network access (wireless access, shared drives).

We are still in the process of restoring the Academic and Research Computing systems.  We anticipate that most of these services will be available by 7pm with the exception of the High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. Kong and Stheno should be available by 9 pm with Hadoop being brought online by Monday, April 18.
